The Atlantic Division-leading Toronto Raptors will resume their western road trip Monday against the Utah Jazz. Listen to the Raptors vs. Jazz live tonight on TSN Radio 1050 at 9pm et/6pm pt. The Raptors are 1-1 so far on the five-game junket after defeating Denver and losing to Portland. In Saturdays 106-103 loss to the Blazers, the home team blew a 16-point advantage and eventually won on Damian Lillards running bank shot with 11.9 seconds left. Portland led 31-19 after the first quarter and had three players score at least 20 points. Toronto was led by DeMar DeRozans 36 points and 12 assists, while Kyle Lowry and Jonas Valanciunas scored 23 and 18 points, respectively, for the Raptors, who shot 46 percent for the game. "We understand what we had to do, honestly," DeRozan said. "We understand we were down big and the only way we would get back in this game was to get stops and thats what we started doing. That was the main part. We were missing a lot of easy shots that we normally make, but we dont worry about that. The only thing we worry about is the defensive game and we picked it up in the second half." DeRozan is averaging 27.8 points in his last five games. The Raptors, who are four games ahead of Brooklyn in the Atlantic, still have to visit Sacramento and the Los Angeles Clippers on the road trip. Raptors guard Greivis Vasquez is questionable for Monday with an illness. Utah has dropped two in a row and four of its last six games, including Saturdays 102-87 setback to the Clippers. Enes Kanter had 23 points and 14 rebounds, and Richard Jefferson scored 19 for the Jazz, who made only 35.8 percent of their shots and got 15 points from Gordon Hayward. "They showed their experience on us. Jamal Crawford made some big shots," Jazz coach Tyrone Corbin said. "They executed in the second half. We just didnt get the stops when we needed to." Jazz forward Derrick Favors missed the game with a sore right hip and is questionable for Mondays game. He has missed two straight. Toronto defeated Utah, 115-91, at Air Canada Centre on Nov. 9, but has lost 14 of the previous 16 meetings between the teams. The Raptors have also lost seven of eight and 13 of the 17 all-time matchups in Salt Lake City. The Browns, who have been shuttling quarterbacks on and off the field all season, finally got some good news on that front: Campbells ribs are only bruised.SAN JOSE, Costa Rica -- Mexico will play New Zealand for a spot in next years World Cup despite losing 2-1 at Costa Rica on Tuesday night. The Mexicans advanced to the home-and-home series when the United States rallied with two late goals to win at Panama. That kept Mexico in fourth place at the conclusion of the CONCACAF final qualifying round with only 11 points, three ahead of Panama, which would have advanced by holding off the Americans. Mexico will host the first leg on Nov. 13 or 14 and play at New Zealand on Nov. 20. The Mexicans have made every World Cup since they were disqualified from the 1990 tournament for using an overage player at a youth event, but they sure cut it close this time. Goals by Brian Ruiz in the first half and Alvaro Saborio in the second gave Costa Rica the win. The Ticos already had qualified for Brazil 2014 and wound up second to the United States in the round. Oribe Peralta scored in the 29th minute for Mexico, which won only two games in the 10-game finals. One of those victories came last Friday night against Panama in the first match for new coach Victor Manuel Vucetich, and that was the difference for El Tri. "We thought that we were out," Peralta said. Still, Mexico could be hard-pressed to beat the Kiwis and get to Brazil, especially if it cant find some offence. In 10 games, the Mexicans scored seven goals. "Weve got to reflect, and we have to do whatever it takes to make it to the World Cup," Peraltta added.dddddddddddd. "Things are not working as we wish." Ruiz put Costa Rica in front with a brilliant move, heading the ball to himself in the penalty area, then whipping his left leg around for a shot from 12 yards that goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa had no chance of stopping. But four minutes later, Mexico struck. Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez broke free and was about to put the ball into the net when diving keeper Keylor Navas barely touched it away. But the ball went directly to Peralta, who sent it into the unguarded cage. With rain coming down for most of the second half, particularly late in the match, each side pressed for another goal. Costa Rica got it, putting Mexico on the verge of elimination, when Saborio was left alone in front of the net to powerfully head home a feed from the right wing by Christian Gamboa. El Tri pressed for a tying goal, couldnt find it, but was saved, ironically, by the U.S. rally in Panama. Lineups: Mexico--Guillermo Ochoa; Hugo Ayala, Jorge Torres (Isaac Brizuela, 74th), Miguel Layun, Rafael Marquez; Oribe Peralta, Jesus Zavala, Christian Arevalo, Carlos Pena; Javier Aguino (Giovani Dos Santos, 66th), Javier Hernandez (Raul Jimenez, 60th). Costa Rica--Keylor Navas; Michael Umana, Giancarlo Gonzalez, Johnny Acosta, Bryan Oviedo, Christian Gamboa; Celso Borges, Yeltsin Tejeda (Jose Cubero, 72nd) Christian Bolanos; Joel Campbell (Michael Barrantes, 77th), Bryan Ruiz (Alvaro Saborio, 49th). cheap nfl jerseys cheap jerseys cheap jerseys cheap jerseys cheap nfl jerseys wholesale jerseys ' ' '
